Married woman commits suicide in Panipat: Last night, a married woman in Siwah village of Panipat district of Haryana committed suicide by hanging herself at home under suspicious circumstances. Seeing the body hanging on the noose, the police was informed about it. Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received.
After collecting all the evidence from the spot and taking all the necessary action, the body was sent to the civil hospital. Where its Panchnama was filled and kept in the mortuary. At the same time, the woman’s maternal family has accused the in-laws of murder for demanding dowry. Police has started further action in the case.
Maternal family says – 5 lakh rupees had been given
Giving information, Ajit told that he is a resident of Ganaur in Sonipat. His sister Preeti (25) was married to Karmveer, a resident of Siwah village in Panipat about 6 years ago. She was the mother of two children. Ever since the marriage, her in-laws often beat her for dowry.
Not only this, she had given more than 5 lakh rupees to her in-laws. But even after this, their demands continued. Her in-laws were also explained many times. But they did not stop their antics. At the same time, her parents also allege that Preeti was killed and hanged.
