Haryana School Summer Holidays News: Due to the scorching heat in Haryana, government schools have announced summer holidays from May 28 and the current summer vacation period is scheduled to end on June 30.
Meanwhile, students and parents were expecting an extension of the holidays due to frequent heatwave alerts issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). However, recent updates by the IMD will bring a change in expectations.
The IMD, which has not yet issued new heatwave alerts, has predicted a slight drop in temperatures and rainfall from June 28, which may bring much relief from the scorching heat.
With the latest weather developments, the summer holidays seem unlikely to be extended. Notably, the school administration is yet to take a final decision, but the improving weather conditions suggest that classes may resume on July 1 as scheduled.
