Haryana News: A third new railway line will be laid from Ambala to Jalandhar in Haryana. This project will cost about Rs 3,200 crore. The Railways has taken this decision as the number of trains on this route is constantly increasing.
The Railways has completed the survey for this scheme. The Railways’ Construction Department has also prepared a proposal and sent it to the Railway Board.
According to information, for this new route, 20-30 feet of land will have to be acquired in Haryana and Punjab along with the old railway line from Jalandhar to Ambala. This proposal will be approved in the coming days.
As soon as the seal is sealed, the funding process will start and after that, under this scheme, land acquisition work will be done in collaboration with the Haryana and Punjab governments. Money will also be distributed to the people by the Railways and the government regarding land acquisition. Complete information regarding this is also available in the survey report.
If the reports are to be believed, the work of laying a new railway line will be done under the Ambala Railway Division. The length of this railway line will be approximately 153 km, which will be laid from Ambala to Jalandhar. This work will be done by the Railways in two phases.

If reports are to be believed, two new railway lines will be laid from Delhi to Ambala Cantt railway station. This work will be done under the Delhi division. It is also estimated that it will cost five to six thousand crore rupees.
The survey of this new railway line has been completed and it may soon get the approval of the Railway Board. This entire work has been done using drones.
