Fatehabad: A tragic accident took place early this morning on the Bhuna Road flyover. The daughter-in-law of a famous doctor of Sirsa died in the accident. She was going from Sirsa to Delhi by hiring a cab with her daughter and sister, from where they had to catch a train for Mata Vaishno Devi. In Fatehabad, the car rammed into a truck going ahead. The deceased was sitting in the front of the car. The body of the deceased has been brought to the Civil Hospital Fatehabad for post-mortem.
According to the information, Mamta Chaudhary (wife Abhay Chaudhary), daughter-in-law of Dr. OP Chaudhary, director of OP Eye Clinic at Ambedkar Chowk in Sirsa, left for Delhi from Sirsa in the morning with her 18-year-old daughter Mannat and sister Shalu. The driver was driving the car.
According to the information received from the family, they had to catch a train from Delhi to Mata Vaishno Devi and before that they had to stop at Hisar also. That is why he left for Delhi from Sirsa. Around 5 o’clock the car reached Fatehabad’s Bhuna Road Overbridge and collided with a truck moving ahead. The car was completely crushed. It is being told that Mamta Chaudhary was sitting in the front seat of the car. The injured were brought to the hospital where doctors declared the woman dead, while the rest of the people have minor injuries.
