Indore News: BJP youth leader Monu Kalyane has been shot dead. The incident is being reported at 3 am on Saturday-Sunday night.
The young BJP leader was shot in Indore’s MG Road area, where he died on the spot. As soon as the incident was reported, heavy police force and BJP workers reached the spot. According to preliminary information, the accused fired bullets at BJP leader Monu Kalyane at Chimanbagh intersection here. Monu’s colleagues took him to the hospital and tried to save his life, but according to the doctors, he had already died. According to the police, the killers have been identified and will be arrested as soon as possible.
Firing took place at the intersection
According to the police, like every time, Monu was preparing for the saffron yatra on Saturday night. Meanwhile, two youths named Piyush and Arjun reached Chimanbagh intersection and started discussing the yatra. Meanwhile, Arjun, who was sitting behind on the bike, took out his pistol and fired several shots at Monu and fled. The accused also fired a shot at Monu’s friends but they escaped. According to the police, the case is of an old rivalry.
Akash Vijayvargiya reached the house of the deceased
After Monu’s murder, Kailash Vijayvargiya’s son and former MLA Akash Vijayvargiya reached Monu’s house with his supporters. Monu was the city vice-president in the BJP Yuva Morcha. He had worked for the party by being active in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
