Panipat Vinod Barada Murder Case Update: The police has solved the murder of businessman Vinod Bharada in December 2021 near Paramhans Kutia in Panipat city. The police started investigating the case again after receiving a message from Australia in this matter.
Investigation revealed that deceased Vinod’s wife Nidhi had an affair with gym trainer Sumit. Both of them together included Bathinda resident truck driver Dev Sunar alias Deepak in the conspiracy with the intention of seizing the businessman’s insurance amount, property and business. He was lured with Rs 10 lakh and all the expenses of the case. In this case, SP Ajit Singh Shekhawat assigned the responsibility of investigation to CIA 3 in-charge Deepak Kumar.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Nidhi and Sumit together first conspired to kill Vinod Bharada in a road accident. Accused Dev hit Vinod’s car with a loading vehicle on October 5, 2021 but he survived. After this, accused Dev went to jail. After coming out of jail, accused Nidhi and Sumit prepared Dev again and sent him to Vinod on the pretext of apologizing, on 15 December 2021, he shot Vinod dead.
In this case, the brother of the deceased Vinod had sent a message to the SP from Australia and expressed suspicion that a family member was involved in this incident. After which the police investigated and the whole matter was revealed.
On June 7, the police team arrested accused Sumit alias Bantu, resident of Gohana, from Sector 11-12 market and when interrogated, the accused Dev Sunar confessed to carrying out the crime of first causing an accident to Vinod and then getting him shot dead.
The police produced Sumit alias Bantu in the court on June 7 and took him on seven-day police remand. When the police arrested accused Nidhi in this case on Friday and interrogated her, she admitted to carrying out the said crime along with Sumit alias Bantu. The police produced both the accused in the court on Saturday. From where they were sent to jail in judicial custody.
