An encounter took place between police and criminals in Hansi, Haryana late Tuesday-Wednesday night. 3 criminals were shot in the leg in the firing from both sides on Umra Road. All three have been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Hansi. According to police sources, all three criminals were involved in the murder of JJP leader Ravindra Saini.
The criminals have been identified as Sachin alias Magtu, a resident of Jind, Yogesh alias Sukha, a resident of Kharak Jatan, Rohtak and Vikas alias Kashi, a resident of Pijokhara, Bhiwani.
Police officials have reached the hospital. Officials are maintaining distance from the media. Officials say that information about the entire case will be given through a press conference.
In the Ravindra Saini murder case, the police has already arrested 5 accused including mastermind Vikas alias Vicky Nehra. Police believes that more than 10 people are involved in this murder. Ravindra Saini was murdered due to old enmity.
The murder took place on July 10
Hero agency owner and JJP leader Ravindra Saini was shot dead by 3 shooters outside the showroom at 6 pm on July 10 in Hansi. A companion of the shooters was waiting on a bike at some distance. CCTV footage of their escape was also revealed.
The traders called for a Hansi bandh in protest against the murder. After this, the police took action and arrested 4 accused from Gujarat. The accused were identified as Praveen (32), resident of Vakil Colony, Hansi, Praveen (40), resident of Khivada Pani, Rajasthan, Ravindra (29), resident of Sisay Kalirawan, Hansi and Ramesh alias Yogi Shivnath (40), resident of Narnaund.
After this, the police brought the mastermind Vikas Nehra from jail on a production warrant.
Police had arrested 4 accused from Gujarat.
All the accused had met Vikas in jail.
SIT in-charge DSP Headquarters Hansi Dheeraj Kumar said that during the initial interrogation, the accused told that a few days ago, during their meeting with Vikas alias Vicky Nehra, who was in jail, they had conspired to kill Ravindra Saini.
People had blocked the highway in protest against the murder of businessman Ravindra Saini.

Hansi was closed on Friday, 12 July in protest against the murder of Ravindra Saini. On 12 July itself, a delegation had a meeting with Chief Minister Naib Saini in Chandigarh from the morning. In the case, the Chief Minister agreed to accept the body after agreeing to the 3 demands of the family. After 48 hours, the body was cremated on the evening of 12 July.
Thousands of people, including people from all the organizations of the city, participated in the last funeral procession of Ravindra Saini. Ravindra’s son Navdeep lit the pyre of his father Ravindra Saini. All the members of the business association and the family were adamant on not cremating the body until their demands of job to one member of Ravindra’s family, compensation and arrest of the accused were not met.
