Chandigarh: Haryana Staff Selection Commission Chairman Mr. Himmat Singh said that the Commission has released the schedule for conducting Physical Measurement Test (PMT) (height, chest and weight) examination of the candidates who have qualified the Common Eligibility Test Group C under Advertisement No. 06/2024, Category No. 01, who have applied for the posts of Police Constable (GD).
Commission Chairman Mr. Himmat Singh informed in this regard that the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted with a digital display monitor in accordance with the norms of the police recruitment process issued by the Union Home Ministry. Every candidate will be photographed and videographed on the spot. Details of shortlisted candidates, date and time of PMT and admit card information are available on the commission’s website.
He informed that from July 16, 2024 (Tuesday) the first slot will be held at 6.30 am, second at 8.30 am and third at 10.30 am and fourth at 12.30 pm at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-3, Panchkula, in which physical test of 2000 candidates will be done.
He informed that physical examination will be done in 4 slots every day till July 23. Similarly, a program has been set to conduct physical test of 3000 candidates on July 17 and 5000 candidates daily from July 18 to 23. The schedule of examination of the remaining candidates will be released soon after the first phase.
Shri Himmat Singh has appealed to the male candidates not to bring mobile phones, electronic devices, hidden cameras and other materials while appearing in the examination. Candidates will have to bring only Aadhar Card or Driving License, Passport, Voter Card with photo and original document of address proof and scanned admit card downloaded from the Commission’s website and an admit card with a photo pasted on it.
He clarified that apart from these two documents, no other document of any kind will be allowed to be taken to the test venue. He has also appealed to the female candidates not to bring nose rings, earrings and other items with them. All the candidates will be checked through biometrics and eye metric, only then they will be allowed to go inside. If in biometric, another person is caught entering the exam in place of a candidate, then strict legal action will be taken against him and an FIR will be registered.
He told that if the candidates have any kind of problem or complaint, then the team of Haryana Staff Commission will be available to solve it on the spot. Apart from this, coaches of the Sports Department will also be present to assist in the physical examination.
Haryana Transport buses will be arranged from Singhpura bus stand of Zirakpur
The chairman said that Haryana Transport buses will be arranged to bring the candidates from Singhpura bus stand of Zirakpur to Tau Devi Lal Stadium of Panchkula. Apart from this, parking will be available near Indian Oil Petrol Pump on Devi Nagar side for the candidates who want to come by their private vehicles.
He said that the commission has made special arrangements for the examination of the candidates at Tau Devi Lal Stadium for the PMT examination, in which ambulance, mobile toilet, water tanker and water proof tent will be arranged along with medical staff.
He clarified that in the first schedule, 6 times the number of candidates than the number of posts have been called for the PMT examination. The schedule of physical examination of women constables will be released later.
