Lonavla Bhushi Dam Accident News: The bodies of all five people who were washed away in a waterfall near Bhushi Dam in Pune were found on Monday, July 1. According to an official, the last missing four-year-old boy was found in the evening.

A family group of 11 from Lonavala in Pune went for a walk near the falls on Sunday, local reports said. Unfortunately, five members of the group – a woman and four children – got caught in the strong current and died, while six others survived.

“The body of Adnan Ansari was found on Monday evening, after which the search operation was called off,” said Suhas Jagtap, senior inspector of Lonavla police station.

The deceased have been identified as Shahista Ansari (36), Amima Ansari (13), Umra Ansari (8), Adnan Ansari (4) and Maria Syed (9).

Police said the deceased belonged to a large group of 16-17 people from Syed Nagar in Hadapsar, Pune. The group, all related to each other, were on a day picnic when the tragedy occurred.
