During next 2 days, conditions will become favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into some more parts of West Rajasthan, rest of Haryana, entire Chandigarh and rest of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu.
A cyclonic circulation lies over northeast Rajasthan at 0.9 km above sea level. A cyclonic circulation lies over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining areas.
A cyclonic circulation also lies over northeast Assam and adjoining areas.
A trough lies from northwest Rajasthan to northeast Assam, connecting with cyclonic circulation over northeast Rajasthan, south Uttar Pradesh, south Bihar, northeast Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and connecting with Bangladesh and Meghalaya.
A cyclonic circulation lies over central parts of Rajasthan. A cyclonic circulation lies over Haryana and adjoining areas at 1.5 to 3.1 km above mean sea level.
A cyclonic circulation also lies over South Gujarat and adjoining areas, extending between 5.8 km and 7.6 km above mean sea level and tilting southwards with height.
