Mumbai: Police have arrested Vishal Agarwal, the father of a minor boy involved in a fatal Porsche car accident in Pune, Maharashtra. The minor, driving under the influence of alcohol, collided with a bike on Sunday, resulting in two fatalities. Agarwal was detained in Aurangabad under the Juvenile Justice Act after evading capture. The police had formed multiple teams and successfully apprehended him near Chhatrapati Shambhajinagar on Tuesday morning.

At the time of the accident, the police came to the preliminary conclusion that a 17-year-old boy was driving a car at a speed of 200 kmph and hit the bike. According to Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, the accused boy celebrated in a local pub after the 12th class results were declared. He was drinking before the car accident. In Maharashtra only those above 25 years of age are legally allowed to drink alcohol. We will take action against the bar owners who gave alcohol to minors illegally,” he said.

The police said that the minor boy was produced in the juvenile court less than 15 hours after the road accident. Eka.. the court imposed several conditions to grant him bail. All of them were ordered to be followed without fail. The police have also registered a case under various sections of the Juvenile Justice Act against Vishal Agarwal, the father of the minor boy who committed this incident with gross negligence. Vishal Agarwal, a famous builder, went on the run. He was detained by the police on Tuesday after a search.
