With the efforts of Sirsa MLA, former Minister of State for Home and Halopa Supremo Gopal Kanda, the government has released an amount of Rs 03 crore, 98 lakh 22 thousand for 18 development works including construction and repair of roads in Sirsa Municipal Council area, tenders for these works have been opened, work will start soon. Along with this, work will also be done in some parks.

Giving this information, senior BJP leader Gobind Kanda, younger brother of MLA Gopal Kanda, said that Rs. 21.14 lakhs will be spent on IPB road construction and patch work in ward number nine, ten, eleven, Rs. 07.27 lakhs will be spent on IPB road construction in front of Government Women Polytechnic Institute, Rs. 05.16 lakhs will be spent on the construction of Kamboj Hitkari Sabha Sirsa,

Rs. 41.06 lakhs will be spent on the repair and renovation of Park number 11, Gurudwara Park near Income Tax Office, triangular park of HUDA Sector 20, Rs. 21.42 lakhs will be spent on the development work of Kabir Vatika on Dabwali Road, Rs. 31.15 lakhs will be spent on the construction of Kumharowali Gali number one and two, soap factory lane in ward number 31, Rs. 32.7 lakhs will be spent on the IPB construction of Gali Meenu Wali, Ivar Wali in ward number 31, Tulsi Wali Gali in Water Works Colony in ward number 31.

An amount of Rs 2.78 lakh will be spent on the construction. He said that tenders have been opened for these development works and construction work will start soon. He has appealed to the ward residents to keep an eye on the development work being done in their wards.
