There may be a change in the dates of the upcoming assembly elections in Haryana. Sources have given this information. A decision in this regard can be taken in the Election Commission meeting on Tuesday on the request of political parties. Let us tell you that voting will be held in a single phase for all 90 seats of the state. Votes will be cast in Haryana on October 1 and the election results will come after counting of votes on October 4.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded to change the voting date for the Haryana assembly elections. According to Election Commission sources, voting may take place on October 7 or 8 instead of October 1. Accordingly, the counting date can also be extended. The Election Commission can announce this on Tuesday.

BJP had written a letter to EC
Haryana BJP President Mohan Lal Badoli had written a letter to the Election Commission in which he had asked to change the polling date of October 1 due to fear of low voter turnout. He says that there are many holidays before and after the polling date of 1 October, due to which there may be less voting, so this date should be changed.
