Yesterday, when the police arrested a young woman and a coffee shop owner in Delhi, such scams are being discussed again. According to the police, such gangs are widespread in all the big cities of the country like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. What happened in Delhi Dating Scam
I.A.S. A young man living in Delhi with Moha has fallen victim to a new dating scam. He friended a young woman named Varsha through Tinder, a dating app. After that, the relationship continued through chatting. A young woman invited a young man to ‘Black Mirror Cafe’ in Delhi’s Vikas Marg for a date. The two people who arrived there had only snacks and cold drinks.

Meanwhile, the young lady left the house saying that there was something urgent. The young man was really shocked when he was about to return after paying the bill. Received a bill of Rs 1.21 lakh. When I questioned this, I was threatened by the staff. Employees forcibly transferred money from the young man’s account online. After this, the cafe staff released the young man. The Delhi Police then investigated the dating scam when the young man approached the police.

young women cafe owners and employees is behind this kind of fraud. In the Delhi case, the cafe employee started a fake account on the dating app called ‘Varsha’. The pictures of Afsana Parveen, a young woman who was part of the fraud gang, were also used. Afsana entered the scene as the friendship grew. Afsana also came to meet the complainant youth.

Cafe owners Akshay Pahva and Vansh Pahva were also involved in the scam. Akshay, one of the cafe owners, was first arrested by the police in the case. Later, Afsana was also arrested. Similarly, Afsana was taken into custody by the police while she was talking to another youth in a cafe whom she had met through a matrimonial website.

Such gangs lure victims through scams and popular dating apps. After that, some will transfer the WhatsApp number and confirm the trustworthiness. The work of the young women will be done by bringing the victims to the cafes. Later, cafe owners and employees will come to the scene with a huge bill. If you resist, the bouncers will also threaten you. Fearing shame and fear of beating, many people will pay the amount they say. This money will be properly distributed by the cafe owners, employees and the young ladies involved in the scam.

Police say that not only women, but also men have been victims of fraud through
dating apps. Earlier this month, the police arrested two youths in the incident of robbing the house of a woman whom they met through a dating app in Delhi. After the friendship on the dating app, the young man came to the 35-year-old’s house. However, the young man came with another person to steal. After attacking and subduing the woman, both of them looted the house.
