Two people also lost their lives. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for three-four days of heavy rain in 19 states including the national capital Delhi. A red alert has been issued in Arunachal Pradesh.

Clouds will bring heavy rain from Punjab to Bengal
Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, East Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim and Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh have been warned till July 3. Also, rainfall was recorded at a few places in Delhi, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Also, due to heavy rains, the road in Ahmedabad is blocked.

Monsoon will reach the entire country in a day or two
According to the Meteorological Department, Monsoon has advanced over parts of Punjab, West Rajasthan and Haryana. It covers all parts of Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Himachal Pradesh. Monsoon will cover the entire country as it reaches West Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh and rest of Punjab in the next two to three days.

Heavy rain warning in Delhi

Avalanche in Kedarnath
An avalanche hit Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand in the early hours of Sunday, leaving people breathless. A glacier started falling from the mountain behind the Kedarnath temple and caused a snow storm. The avalanche occurred in the upper reaches of Gandhi Lake in the Chorbari Glacier below the snow-capped Meru-Sumeru Range at the upper end of the Kedarnath Valley. In his viral video, a huge mountain of snow is seen sliding down. State Disaster Management Department official Nandan Singh Rajwar said that there is a possibility of snow breaking due to sunlight.
