Chandigarh, August 12- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that in the conference held on the holy land of Jind on the occasion of Hariyali Teej, he had announced that about 50 lakh Antyodaya families of the state will get domestic gas cylinder for Rs 500. Today, under that announcement, it has been given concrete shape by launching an online portal in the name of Har Ghar-Har Grihini Yojana. The sisters of the state will get benefit of Rs 1500 crore annually from this scheme.

Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the objective of our double engine government is to make the life of the poor and Antyodaya easier. In this episode, under the portal, about 50 lakh BPL families will be given gas cylinders for Rs 500. The Haryana government will bear the extra amount of Rs 500 spent on the cylinder. The subsidy money will be refunded to the consumer’s account.

Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini said that consumers can take advantage of the scheme by registering on the link https.//epds.haryanafood.gov.in once from home. Consumers can get 12 cylinders filled in a year. On filling the gas cylinder, the remaining amount (more than Rs 500) will be refunded to their account every month. This information will be given to the consumer through SMS on his mobile phone.

On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of Food Civil and Consumer Affairs Department Dr. Sumita Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. V Umashankar, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mrs. Ashima Brar, Director General of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department Mr. Mandeep Singh Brar were present.
