In a post published on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the leaker wrote that the Galaxy S25 Ultra could have four cameras on the back. The phone has a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optics. Zoom and 50 MP super telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
If the information provided by the tipster is correct, the 10-megapixel telephoto camera of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra can be expanded to 50 megapixels, while the 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera can be expanded to 50 megapixels. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 200MP main sensor with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP super telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra may come with the company’s first 3nm chipset. According to a report from Business Korea, Samsung plans to include the next 3nm Exynos chipset in the Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to be released in 2025.
Online reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra may feature the same 50MP ISOCELL GN3 primary sensor that we saw on the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24. Compared to the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung is expected to offer improved Galaxy AI features in the Galaxy S25 series.
