After losing the toss and batting first in the match, the Indian team scored 171 runs losing 7 wickets. Captain Rohit Sharma hit a fifty in 36 balls. He played a fiery innings of 57 runs in 39 balls. During this, he hit 2 sixes and 6 fours. While Suryakumar Yadav hit 47 runs in 36 balls.
