Bhushi Dam: Five people were swept away in the falls in Lonavala, the bodies of three of them were found on Sunday, while the bodies of the remaining two were found on Monday. While one body was found in the morning, the search for the other body was completed on Monday evening. Finally, the bodies of five tourists have been found. Now after this the rescue work is over. The body of 9-year-old Maria Syed was found on Monday morning. After this, the dead body of Adnan Ansari (age- 4 years) was found at 5:30 in the evening.

Earlier bodies of Sahista Liaqat Ansari age – 36 years, Amima Salman alias Adil Ansari age – 13 years, Umra Salman alias Adil Ansari age – 8 years were found. The family, who lives in Hadapsar in Pune, was enjoying the rain at the waterfall in the hilly area behind Bhushi Dam. The water flow in the falls then increased and 10 people, including a four-year-old boy, got trapped in the falls. While all were swept away by the current, five of the ten men were rescued at some distance. But five others were swept away by the strong current. Tourists and their families tried hard to save them, but could not reach them.
