Karnatak Sex Scandal: Hassan police has also arrested Prajwal Revanna’s brother Sooraj Revanna, who is involved in the Karnataka sex scandal. Sooraj is accused of having unnatural sex with a JDS worker. Police in Karnataka on Saturday registered a case against JDS MLC Sooraj Revanna for allegedly sexually assaulting a 27-year-old youth worker of the party. The case comes a day after a close aide of Sooraj Revanna filed a case of extortion against the alleged victim.
Sooraj’s aide Shivakumar had alleged that the man demanded Rs 5 crore and later settled for Rs 2 crore. Holenarasipura rural police on Saturday registered a case of sexual assault under IPC sections 377 (unnatural physical relations), 342 (holding hostage), 506 (intentional insult to breach peace) and 34 (common intention) in the case. Police have made both Sooraj Revanna and Shivakumar accused in the case.
There has been a new twist in Karnataka’s famous sex scandal. After JDS leader HD Revanna and his elder son Prajwal Revanna, younger brother Sooraj’s name has also been added to the case. An FIR has been lodged against Sooraj at Holenarasipura police station in Hassan district. The complainant has accused him of sexual exploitation. Police have registered a case against Sooraj under sections 377, 342, 506 and 34 of the IPC.
A complainant has written in his complaint, “Sooraj Revanna called me to his farm house on June 16. There he talked very nicely, but I was shocked when he put his hand on my shoulder and started touching my ears. I got scared. He said don’t worry, I will be with you. Then he started kissing and biting my lips. I pushed him away. At this he started shouting.”
According to the complainant, “Sooraj told me that you are alone in this farm house. You don’t know about me and our family. After this he threatened me that if I did not cooperate then he would kill me. Then he took me to his room and hugged me. Started biting my cheeks. He started talking obscenely to me. He even started touching my private parts. He even took off his clothes. Then he forcibly had sex with me.
