Samastipur news: A train got stuck in the middle of the bridge in Samastipur, Bihar. Actually, this happened due to pressure leakage in the train. When the train stopped in the middle of the bridge, thousands of passengers got scared. On this, the loco pilot and assistant loco pilot showed courage and crawled under the train to reach the leakage spot and fixed the leakage, only then the train could move forward.

DRM has announced to give reward to both the drivers.

Actually, on bridge number 382 between Valmiki Nagar and Paniyava station of Samastipur Railway Division, air pressure suddenly started leaking from the unloader valve of the loco engine. Due to this, the train stopped in the middle of the bridge. There was no way to reach the place where the leakage was taking place, so the loco pilot and assistant loco pilot risked their lives and crawled under the train to fix the leakage.

After a lot of effort, the air pressure leakage from the unloader valve of the engine could be fixed. The video of the loco pilot crawling out on the bridge under the train has also surfaced. After this, the train could move forward. Seeing this courageous act of the drivers, DRM Vinay Srivastava of Samastipur Railway Division has announced a reward of Rs 10,000 and a citation to both the drivers.

Let us tell you that when train number 05497 Up Narkatiaganj Gorakhpur reached bridge number 382 between Valmiki Nagar and Paniyava, suddenly air pressure started leaking from the unloader valve of the engine (loco). Due to this the MR pressure decreased and the train stopped in the middle of the bridge. After the train stopped on the bridge, it was very difficult to repair it.

Loco pilot Ajay Kumar Yadav and assistant loco pilot Narkatiaganj Ranjit Kumar reached the place where the engine was leaking by hanging and crawling on the bridge. After this, they managed to stop the leakage, only then the train proceeded towards its destination station.
