Heavy rain late on Sunday night

The weather cleared during the day after the morning rain in the district on Sunday, but heavy rain started again late at night, due to which the main roads of the city were submerged.

At the same time, the power substation in Faridpur was flooded, due to which the power supply of the area was also disrupted. Also, due to rain, the temperature is also continuously falling.

Forecast for the coming days
Meteorologists have predicted some relief from rain in the coming two days. The district has been receiving intermittent rains for the past several days.

This is providing relief to the farmers, but problems have increased due to waterlogging at many places in the urban area and sinking and damage of roads and drains.

The claims made by the corporation regarding drain cleaning also appeared to be a failure. Due to potholes on the road at many places on City Station Road, pedestrians had to face a lot of trouble.
