School Holidays News Update : In various states of India, including South India, where the South-West Monsoon is receiving heavy rains. However, after June 26, relief is likely again over North India including North East India. The temperature seems to be higher than this. In such a situation, schools are closed due to heat in various states of the country. At present, summer vacations in Uttar Pradesh have been extended till June 28, as the government does not want to take any risk by calling students to school in the scorching sun.
Schools in Delhi will remain closed till further orders. School holidays
This year’s heat in New Delhi has broken all records. Due to this, the school here has been closed. Schools are not allowed to open in Delhi till further orders. Meanwhile, summer vacation is underway in many states including UP, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand. In some states, schools were supposed to start from June, but the holidays were extended due to hot weather. Many states have extended school holidays due to the ravages of rising temperatures this summer.

The capital of the country is suffering from heat
This time the nation’s capital has broken all heat records. Remember, the maximum temperature in Delhi has crossed the 48 degree mark this year. In such a situation, schools in Delhi will continue till July 1 only. If there is no change in the weather in the coming days, all schools in Delhi may start in July itself. There is no hope before that.
For the first time, schools in Himachal were also affected
No change has been made in the vacation calendar of government schools in Himachal Pradesh. Summer vacations have been conducted as per the old schedule. Schools are going to have monsoon vacation. Now monsoon will enter Himachal Pradesh between July 28 and July 3. After this, there will be a break in Monsoon till July 29 with cloudburst or heavy rain expected in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh. Schools will also remain closed during these days. In case of light or moderate rains, the government can decide to open schools in advance.

The Bihar government had closed the schools as soon as the scorching heat started. At present, an order has been issued to close all schools up to 8th standard till June 22. Especially Patna DM Sir Ashok Kapil has extended the school holidays in view of the scorching heat. He is of the opinion that it is necessary to protect children from heatstroke in the hot sun. People are getting sick due to extreme heat.
Schools will start on July 1 in Haryana
Schools are closed from May 21 due to heat wave in Haryana state. However, the Haryana government had empowered the Deputy Commissioner to declare holidays for schools before June 1. But after reaching a maximum of 49 degrees, the Haryana government issued an order to close schools till June 30. According to the education department’s timetable, all private and government schools in Haryana will start on July 1. School holidays in Haryana may also increase if the heat wave continues. However, the India Meteorological Department has predicted active monsoon rains in Haryana between June 28 and July 3.
