School Holidays News: Summer holidays are going on in all the states of the country, due to which children do not have to go to school in the summer season. This year there has been severe heat in many states of the country, due to which the condition of many people has worsened. In view of the heat, summer holidays in children’s schools have been extended in some states. By extending the summer holidays, children will not have to go to school for a few more days and they will be able to avoid the heat.
Summer holidays extended in schools
There is still severe heat in many states of the country, due to which the temperature has gone above 40 degrees. In such a situation, children may get sick when they go to school. Therefore, many teachers’ organizations are demanding extension of summer holidays. Information about the states in which summer holidays have been extended is given here. In Uttar Pradesh
Summer holidays in the state of Uttar Pradesh have been extended for a few more days. Summer holidays in the state ended on June 17, but in view of the scorching heat, the holidays in the schools have been extended till June 30. Now schools in UP will open from July 1.
Holidays in Rajasthan
The Rajasthan Education Department has already extended the summer holidays till June 30. Schools in the state will now open from July 1 and the new session will start from July 1 itself.
Summer holidays in Bihar
In view of the scorching heat in the state of Bihar, the summer holidays have now been extended till June 19. The teachers’ union has demanded further extension of school holidays in view of the problems being faced due to this scorching heat. Collectors of many districts including Patna have issued orders to extend the holidays of children from class 1 to 8 till June 18 and 19.
Summer holidays in Delhi
In view of the scorching heat and the alert of the Meteorological Department, summer holidays in Delhi schools have already been extended. Summer holidays in Delhi will remain closed till June 30 and schools will open from July 1.
