Pune Porsche accident: Two people lost their lives when a speeding luxury Porsche car driven by a minor collided with their motorcycle in Maharashtra‘s Pune early on Sunday. A case was registered under the relevant provisions against the 17-year-old car driver, police confirmed, following the accident that took place at Kalyani Nagar around 3.15 am.According to reports, the luxury car was driven by Brahma Realty and Infrastructure owner Vishal Agarwal’s son. According to reports, a group of friends were going home on their motorcycle after attending a party at a restaurant in Kalyani Nagar. However, after coming to Kalyani Nagar junction, the accident took place when a motorcycle collided with a luxury car which was traveling at high speed. As a result, as detailed in the First Information Report (FIR), two riders of the two-wheeler sustained injuries and died on the spot.

The FIR further explained that after hitting the motorcycle, the car rammed into the railing of the footpath on the side of the road. In a video circulating on social media, a group of persons are depicted confronting and beating up the driver as he tries to get out of the stricken vehicle.

A video has gone viral on social media showing bystanders beating up a car driver. After the collision, he restrained him as he tried to flee, physically abusing him before handing him over to the police.

According to the FIR document, the deceased have been identified as Anis Dudiya and Ashwini Kosta. Subsequently, a case has been registered against the car driver at Yerwada police station citing various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 279 (driving in the open or on a public road), 304A (causing death by negligent driving), 337 (life with relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act). or causing injury by an act endangering personal safety, and 338 (causing grievous hurt by an act endangering life).

This incident highlights the importance of following road safety rules and being careful while driving, especially late at night. Authorities are investigating the case to find out more details surrounding the unfortunate incident.
